Bonni Benrubi Gallery was founded in 1987. After working for 10 years at the photography gallery Daniel Wolf, Ms. Benrubi opened up her own gallery on the Upper East Side of New York City. 	- Bonni Benrubi Gallery is pleased to announce that in the past year,Matthew Pillsbury's work has been accepted into the collections of the Tate Modern, London, Yale University Art Gallery and the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
	- "Behind the Seen: The Photographs of Abelardo Morell" has opened at the Yale University Art Gallery and continues through August
	- Simon Norfolk was recently featured in two exhibitions: "Masterworks of American Photography" at the Amon Carter Museum Fort Worth, TX as well as the New York photography festival as part of the exhibition curated by Kathy Ryan of the New York Times Magazine. In the past year Simon Norfolk's work has been added to the collections of the Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York, NY, The Amon Carter Museum, Fort Worth, TX, The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, MO, The Legacy Project / The Holocaust Museum, IL and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Museum of Photographic Art, San Diego, CA
	- Massimo Vitali is featured in "Human/Nature: Recent European Landscape Photography" at the Nelson-Atkins Museum Kansas City, MO and also the upcoming exhibition " The Allure of Italy: Photography, Fashion and Design since 1945" at the Fitchburg Art Museum, Fitchburg, MA -Laura McPhee will have her new monograph River of No Return published by Yale University press in the fall 2008 - Paolo Pellegrin has won several awards in the last year including; Picture of the Year International's 'Best use Books' for "Double Blind: War in Lebanon , World Press Photo Award News category, The Deutsche Fotobuchpreis 2008 for his recent book: As I was Dying - Recent gallery addition, Josef Hoflehner has won the title:"Nature Photographer of the Year" at the International Photography Awards (IPA) in Los Angeles and the title "Nature Photographer of the Year" at the Prix de la Photographie in Paris, France. His monograph "Iceland" was the winner of the Hong Kong Print Award this past year. He has also announced the publication of his two newest monograph titled "Nine" and "China: Li River" and are due out in September 2008 -Wout Berger was recently featured in the exhibitions; "Sound the Alarm: Landscapes in Distress" at the Wave Hill Glyndor Gallery, Riverdale, NY as well as "Human/Nature: Recent European Landscape Photography" at the Nelson-Atkins Museum Kansas City, MO -Harri Kallio has recently returned from Thessaloniki, Greece where his exhibition; "Imaginary Encounters: The Dodo and Mauritius Island" was exhibited at the Thessaloniki Museum of Photography and continuing on to the Museo di Fotografia Contemporanea of Cinisello Balsamo, Italy and will be shown in 2009 as well as being acquired for their collection.
